Thanks, David. I had learned over time that a monopod alone was not enough.
I could never keep the camera from moving around the axis of the monopod. I
agree that the stock has a very nice stabilizing effect.
I bought my Oly bodies to enable me to use Leica-R glass, though the two ZD
lenses that I have are fine glass. The 250/4 Telyt is not the most popular
of the long Leica lenses, but, with its matching 2X extender, works fine for
my needs.
