Ken, I think, recently referenced using a camera like a rangefinder. I was
doing this yesterday
with my old 5 Meg Camedia C-5050-Z. (Hey, I'm old and poor, having gambled
away my retirement
on the stock market, so I'm stuck with my three old 5 meg clunkers.) Works for
me .

Her's an older shot of the gear... that w/a finder has been replaced with a
nice bright CV 35 unit:

Back to using it as a Leica... I really do. Ran across this site quite some
time ago written by a guy*
(whom I've never met) who lives about a half-hour north of me. He has a wealth
of photo opinion
and information - much of it Olympus. I took this advice in setting my camera
up as a RF:

*I think he is an engineer of some sort at NASA.
Just my .02, Rick (Like a LEICA? )
.
