I wasn't going to actually deep-six it, perhaps give it back. But, it
is a nice little camera even if it is Yuppie Junque.

I did download a PDF of the manual this morning, but it was of little
help with the aperture, speed, and ISO questions.

I do want to download photos, and all I really need from the CDROM is
the driver. It may already exist in my laptop, but that brings me back to
the cable issue. Turns out I can get those cables for less than $4 on eBay,
but only for connecting from the dock to the PC. Doesn't look like you can
get one that goes from the calera directly to the PC. Another design faux
pas.

I will download that tomorrow morning and give it a try.

I have one of those around here somewhere.

I have two batteries plus the charger and the dock. I just need a cable
and the driver.

I have a couple of stray ones around here somewhere. The E-500 has 1G
and 2G cards.
