Des Moines, Iowa - A Des Moines police officer accidentally ran over a
woman lying in the street overnight.
Someone called police to check on a person who was lying in the street or alley.
An officer responded to the call, but did not see the woman lying in
the alley until his car ran over her legs.
Injuries were not life-threatening and the case remains under investigation.
"Dispatch, I uh, found her."
