It took me some effort to understand, yes. But if you click on a picture
you get it on a black background. On the right there is a white column with
some links. One of them is 'photo details' which brengs a selection of exif
data. For viewing I think it is quite distracting, but recently I found out
that in the right bottom corner of the image there is a semi transparent
buttton (two sided arrow) which toggles the display of the white column.
That makes viewing much more pleasant.
