Today was a day like many in the past when I struggled with, "Should I buy
that new (e-1) Olympus digital camera?" After way more years than I wish
to admit a MacBook Pro is on its way to my home. Well actually it is an
its way to the local Apple store for pick up. Those place are always packed,
I hope that means the products are great and people can't get enough of
them. No frowns, so guess that means everyone is happy. Most of them have
celebrated a good many less birthdays than I have. Hmm, does this mean I'm
getting younger, back sliding or what. Had a pleasant discussion with the
specialist who was closer to my age than the much lower average age of the
rest of the customers. During are conversation I kept trying to figure out
from where I knew this guy. Turns out he was guest singer at our church 4
or 5 years ago.
Upside of all this is that the folks at the Apple store seem to be set up
to do a little more hand holding than your typical big box electronics place
or mail order place. I've always enjoyed anything that has the learning
curve thing go a little easier.
No cheap PCs for sale as a embark on this adventure, but some local
organization may get a donation or two. Yes, Momma wants one also.
