Yes, "referred pain" has a lot to do with muscular discomfort, as well as
imbalance. I managed to use resistive exercise to balance my muscular capacity
on each side of my upper abdomen to reduce the pain from imbalance. Tennis and
Golf Elbow on each side added to the referred pain, but my arms are now much
improved.
