That switch only works with XP pro 32bit and gives you about 3.2gb in
practice. Hardly noticeable.

Yes, pretty close but you must use a 2x slot (pretty standard on newer
boards). Also a quality card. But I suggest using the headers on the
board for SSD's, expansion headers for old drives of whatever flavor.
