True, but I have now discovered a few things.
One New ink tank costs about NZ $ 35.(The printer cost ?? 25, and so far I
have not been billed for the couriering of this 9.5 KG monster from 1200
miles away - my cousin seems to know useful people) The stationery shop
where I bought one also fills them at a cost of ? $15. SO, my printer will
accept refilled tanks. I bought a new one because I was not prepared to wait
until after Easter to carry out tests etc.
I now know how to "see" how full the tanks are etc.
I AM able to get ink for it here :-)
I also am not happy with the one colour profile the machine has - it's far too
red.. Interesting days. But, it *does* work with plain paper ( the results are
less than startling). One step at a time. Usually.
