As Jim says, the the distance from lens mount to film/sensor for LTM is 28.8 mm
and for 4/3 it is 38.58. So a LTM lens
would have to be sunk 10 mm into a 4/3 body to focus to infinity. There are
physical adapters available for under $10 to
connect the lenses to your body, but they will only focus at macro distances.

Yes (assuming you could mount them), if all you want to know is how they work
with an E-1. As to larger comparative
questions between lenses, not so much. You would only be comparing the central
portions of the lens coverage. And only
with a 5 MP sensor, which won't challenge the resolving power of most (all?)
Leica lenses.
