Thanks for the reference to DuckDuckGo Ian. I will give it a try in
preference to google. Duck's write up on Wikipedia mentions states up front
that the search engine does not record user information.
Google's decision to turn off the turn off option come 1st March is sure to
raise major privacy issues in north America.
