Thanks! The really really really good news is that as I write this (Thursday
noonish), Ben is officially out of ICU and in the Intermediate Care Unit
(step-down). The lung docs have ordered a smaller trach for him and for the
moment all is well with the world. Well, except that the hospital's firewall
won't let me send out on Roadrunner, so I wait until I get to my cousin's house
to send. Yes, I could go to the mail client at rr.com, but I hate that clunky
interface.
And all thoughts, prayers, etc., appreciated more than I can say. We seem to be
out of the woods, at least for the moment, but we ain't home yet.
