Yes, I have the body and the lens. Both still function, but are in need of
CLAs. I have a IIIf RD that replaced it, along with a Bessa R2a that gives
me a "cheapskate's" version of an M7.
I was a newly-married USAF 2nd Lt., with no car, and there was camera store
two blocks from our apartment. I drooled over everything in the store, and
finally had enough cash to buy the used IIIa with Elmar 50, and a flash
attachment fitted to a special baseplate by Leitz NY. It was a nice starter
kit.
