Chuck:
Light wasn't really funky at all - Caribbean sun and cloud. Using auto
levels in PSE brought the sea back from turquoise (which it wasn't) to a
darker, more realistic, blue.
The histogram was often a bit off on all channels. Obviously the W*mart
scanner was assuming something different than reality for all the sea
shots. The colours in the photos taken on land were reasonably OK, i.
I'll rescan some of them, to see what I get. I'm sure that the colours
will be in the ball park.
