Ever reach into a pocket, pull out some little thing and wonder "Where and when
did I put that in there?"
Over the last couple of weeks, that's happened to me twice, both with unusually
small things, at least for my pockets.
A couple of days ago, I realized the two go together. And so they did, on top
of the little set of drawers in which I
keep the small tools on my desk.

The shell is 11.9 mm long.

If taken on FF, this would be 1:1.9, almost 1:2. That is, if the S100 sensor
were scaled up to 24x 32 mm (FF-4/3), the
image of the shell would be 6.2 mm wide on the sensor.
Obviously, the image has been cropped.
