Thanks for getting back to me. Just to clarify, I have an old Canon S9000
printer which has served me very well over many years and I am still very
pleased with. A new printer is on the cards, but not quite yet. The S9000 has
only one black ink but (unlike Epsons that I have tried) produces clean black
and whites with no problem. However, because I add a gold-tone my monochrome
prints for this series I have to print in colour. I am investigating papers at
the moment but I have a feeling I am going to settle on Fotospeed baryta paper.
I have to talk to them next week about profiling etc.
