There were indeed varieties of screen depending on FL of the lens in use,
although the variation was not as you ventured. For example, 1-5, 1-6 and
1-7 were outwardly identical, all with microprism, but for different FLs.

subjects, microprism for others. (microprism for WA, split image for tele??)
