That sort of thing doesn't seem to be of concern to Canon. The first DSLR I
used was a borrowed D60. Now I use a 60D.
I'm guessing the next iteration of the S90-95-100 will be yet another S110.
Will I need one to complete some circle of
digital life? :-)
My S110 still works fine, by the way, although I never use it except to see if
it is still working. It's first shot was
6/29/2001.
One of the original two batteries still works. I think the other was killed
because I left in in too long and the clock
is run off of the main battery, rather than a separate little Lithium cell or
rechargeable cell. The other battery is
fine so far, I charge it once in a while and keep it out of the camera.
Replacement batteries are still available.
