I have a brochure C403E-0485D which says -
"Viewfinder - Pentaprism eye-level type. Wide field finder with bright
Lumi-Micron Matte focusing screen with central microprism/split image
rangefinder. Finder field of view 93% of actual picture field. Finder
Magnification 0.92x with 50mm lens at infinity."

Subject: [OM] OM focusing screen
Rumor says that the focusing screen in OM-40/OM-PC is the same type as
that in OM-3T, which is brighter than the 1-13 I currently have in my
Om-4T. The user manual just mentioned "bright Lumi-Micron Matte focusing
screen with central microprism/split image rangefinder". For both OM-3T
and OM-4T, their manuals says the same "interchangeable focusing
screens; microprism/split image-matte type screen standardized".
Is this rumor true? I noticed that OM-40/OM-PC was introduced at about
the same time as OM-4T, and was discontinued way before OM-3T came out.
Thanks.
