As a point of interest to some, I've just added the 100 f2.8 to my kit, for
those times I want the focal length and would rather not have the f2
sitting in a camera case in my car. Same reason I have the 24 f2.8, 50mm
f1.4,
etc. Not doing that didn't work out too well for me a couple of years ago
when a bit part of my kit was stolen from my car including a 50mm f1.2 and

Personal experience with the 100mm F2 is that I give it a solid five out of
five lenscap rating. Wide open, this lens will max out most sensors and
film.
