Thanks very much, Dean. A mixture, perhaps, of transferring to a legendary
fishing area, using OM equipment in the lab, discovering the
List...............amazing how things come together sometimes. I will post
some mayfly shots, using your previous suggestions on flash.

Don Holbrook may be griping about posting a photo or doing a
copy/cut/past, but the guy can sure as hell write a book. See "Midge
Magic," which he co-authored with Ed Koch. I spent (too many) years in
grad school studying a small group of small flies in the family known to
fly anglers as "chironomids" or "midges," and Don's knowledge of the
group's importance to fishermen is, simply put, impressive. If you're
into catching big trout on small to minute imitations, give Don's
treatise a careful look-see. It's very well done.
