All true, however, the big disadvantage of this approach is that the hand falls naturally to the shutter button on the winder (which isn't working, of course), rather than to the release on the camera. One has to conciously feel for the release on the camera, rather than use a reflex action, which can be annoying (if you hit the wrong one and miss the shot). OTOH, this does indicate that the ergonomics of the winders is just right!
