An experiment which I did about a year ago was intended to see how much motion the film advance of the Winders was in comparison to the MD2. I'll have to redo this and film it for my website or something. But I placed the winder or MD2 equipped camera on a slippery glass surface. I used a short, light lens--I think the 35/2.8. Using a remote release plugged into the winder or MD2 I dry-fired a few frames. The winder-equipped camera would rotate and move on the table, the MD2 didn't.
