Do like the first one. He looks both startled and worried, one of those 'did he
really say that' moments. It's as if his drunken father-in-law just told an
appallingly inappropriate joke and he doesn't know whether he should laugh and
so risk the displeasure of his mother-in-law or not laugh and seem like a
prude. One of those quite difficult domestic situations.
Christmas is just sooooo difficult.
