I actually see a lot of Minolta DNA in the latest Sony offerings. There are
a couple of mind-bending issues with the NEX-7, which I'm trying to wrap
around. The lack of user memories is one. The missing touch screen is
another.
I've been following LL's rolling review very closely. I can see that we've
pretty well maxed out possible sensel density from a physics perspective
because of well depth. Of course, some brilliant mind will come up with a
solution, so I'm not worried that this limit will stand for long.
Fortunately, I'm not much in a hurry, so by the time I'm ready to buy,
there might be something as good or better from someone else. Whatever I
get will be lived with for a long time so I want to make sure it's right. I
really want to see what Canon does.
The reality for me is that I really want my Nexus built into a real camera.
