Anyone else see the optical illusion I see in this image? Every time I
look at it my brain swears that the right side support post of the
portico is semi-transparent immediately in front of the lettering
behind. It's as though I can see the lettering very weakly through the
column. Of course, it's not transparent and I can't actually read
anything but the shapes and colors of the stones and mortar joints give
that impression. In fact I imagine that I see a faint, gold colored "S"
right through the corner of the support column facing the viewer. My
eyes/brain just go nutty trying to make sense out of what can't be made
sense of. :-)
