Both nicely done, by both artist and photographer. F11 seems to be clearly
superior for subjects of this depth at this
distance with Bigfoot. I can see no sign of decreased sharpness from
diffraction at f11, and find the deeper DOF more
appealing.

Like Chuck, I seem to like this composition a little better. (The Othello image
you just posted is a scosh crooked,
too.) Even f11 isn't enough to get quite the sharp focus I would have liked on
the lower, front petals of the nasturtium
and the back petals of the daisy (or daisy-like flower).
Maybe next year, you should ask Marnie to make sure the major flowers in her
buckets are within a certain depth. :-)
