Today I wrote a long note of thanks to my son's friend who had gifted me
his fathers Leica IIIf kit. Now I'm very glad I accepted it. As a
couple of you predicted I was chosen to receive it because it was
something cherished by the father and the son did not want it sold at
auction. He wanted it to go to someone who would appreciate it as his
father did.
