Pretty much what I thought. I to like the color version a bit more.
However, if you duotoned the image and sent the upper half of the
spectrum warm while keeping the darker tones neutral, it might make
the reflected piling a bit more interesting.There is just something
about that reflection which I want to explore, but can't in the B&W
version. The color adds an artifical gradient which the eye senses.
I have a darkroom full of B&W negatives which I'm still trying to
figure out how to print because of this very reason. I lack the skills
to figure it out, yet.
