Thanks for the great points. I do find 12mp to be adequate, and my main desires 
at this time is a small system, good low light noise performance, and some sort 
of useable viewfinder.

Actually, looking at the attachable OLED viewfinder for the 5n reminds me of 
the OM varimagnifinder:

On the downside for the NEX is no in camera IS, but then it is a small camera. 
The lens selection is limited, as you point out. However, the 18-55 and the 
55-210, if decent, would fill most of my needs.

The E-P3 is also worthy contender. Seems the AF speed was improved.
