[OM] colour management

Do any listees have a recommendation for an in-depth book about digital 
colour management from camera to computer screen to the final print along 
with any specific software dealing with this subject?

Several months ago Chuck Norcutt very kindly helped me try to locate a copy 
of "Real World Color Management", 2nd edition, by Bruce Fraser, Chris Murphy 
and Fred Bunting. It turned out that the book was no longer in print and in 
very short supply on the used books market. According to www.ABEBooks.com 
today there are two copies available in the US being offered for $274 and 
$1574!

If price is any indication this books to be the gold standard for colour 
management literature!
