Thanks, Ian. That link works. Brian commented on the purple fringe. I
noted the purple fringe but see a worse problem which is the lack of
detail. If viewed at 50% image size (let alone 100%) there is a very
distinct lack of fine detail giving the scene the appearance of a model
railroad layout. At 25% (my criterion for judging what a print might
look like) the image doesn't look too bad but still has a bit of an
artificial look to it. At 15% the scene looks real.
At 15 MP I assume this shot was taken with a small P&S whose lens and/or
IS system is nowhere near up to the requirements of the sensor.
