Actually, for $1k, there's plenty of lenses that can compete to win in that
arena, and focal length. The OM 90/2 certainly, but plenty of others from
other manufacturers, and depending on how far out you want to go in focal
length (135mm? ), even more.
re: 100/2 vs. 90/2: I think the 90/2 is the better choice, for several
reasons, but among them: sharper, and with great macro capability. Usually
the 90/2 sells for more than 100/2, btw.
You'd need a sample size much larger than 1 lens each to have any meaningful
results from a shootout, btw. ;-)
