So lets see:
1. Ancient planes, modified for performance beyond original design.
2. At least one even older pilot, probably not the only one too old to be
reliable under those forces.
3. A race that puts both under extreme stress and encourages reckless behavior.
4. Close to the ground and spectators, so it will be exciting.
No one with any common sense would attend.
