Has anybody used this Sony geo-tagging device? ~$90US from B&H

There are other alternatives but this sounded one of the better ones.
It has a single AA battery that lasts a day and you put your camera card, into
it at the end of the day and it updates the exif with geo-coordinates.
Alternately you do it with PC software or 3rd party software that can put in
additional location info.
Sounds pretty good and you can even download track info to allow google earth
to have interactive maps with pictures etc.
As with a lot of this stuff maybe the reality does not meet ones expectations
and also how easy it is to use?
