Yes, I just don't see the point for a non live view camera.

The thing that concerns me is the warning not to ever power it up with a card
without an autoexec.bin file - and to
remove the battery within 5 seconds if you do.
Sure, I can put the file on every card I've got. But with CHDK, I formatted a
card, instead of erasing all images, a
couple of times. Then no CHDK - OK, no disaster. A similar slip with Magic
Lantern does sound like disaster.
I still haven't decided how serious the risk is and whether there's a practical
way to minimize it, so I haven't tried
ML. I sure would like that two button method of getting into movie mode, though.
