Not only an impressive - and scary - smoke cloud, but it appears that there was
a wind strong enough to actually bend
houses over. :-)

Nice! I thought I was going to get such a shot a few weeks ago, but the bird
flew before just I could get a shot through
an open window. I could have shot through the windshield, but that's never
satisfactory. I gave in and did it for some
ospreys on a nest earlier this year - soft.
We tend to have lighter morph red tails hereabouts.
