Brian,
Have you played with the "draw board"? In FSIV, enlarge your image.
Bump your cursor on the left hand side of your screen. Choose "draw
board" from the list of options. There are many things you can toy with
from there, but if you click on the "A", you can insert a text field of
your choosing, and manage the opacity. I will sometimes use this when I
need to email a few proofs to someone.
For batching, I use Watermark Factory. (An Adobe product).
Candace
FastStone Image Viewer has a similarly quick and easy method for inserting
info into the exif area. I use it a lot in some circumstances, such as making
sure I have the variety of rose (flower) identified.
It would be neat if FSIV had a means of inserting a watermark.
I still have to find a method I can use.
