I think you have Roy Lichtenstein in mind. But, spelling squad please note,
the Alpine Grand Duchy from which Kilfitt lenses originated is
Liechtenstein.

Thanks, Jim. It was a K-5 fitted with a Pentax 55-300, set to 300 (efl
450mm), ISO200 and 1/320th at ƒ11. I had intended to buy a converter to
increase the focal length, but I was so close it would have been wasted.
Watching the 2 Mustangs reminded me strongly of that pop-art painting all
those years ago; was it by Warhol? The shape is so memorable. I do envy
the owner and pilot . . .
