The recent discussions of P51 Mustangs brings back a memory from high
school days: I worked a lot on Model A Fords from about 1958-60, and
just after "antique cars" in the newspaper want ads was "aviation." I
swear I remember seeing a listing for not one, but two, P51 Mustangs for
sale for--hold your breath, boys and girls--$800 apiece. Probably was
1958 or 1959. If I knew then.......
