The Blue Angels are pretty good, and more entertaining than the T'birds, in my
view. And I expect that the Great State of Maine Air Show will be just a
little bigger than the one at my local airfield ;-)
We had a sad loss last week when Red 4 crashed near Bournemouth airport -- on
the break into the circuit after the main display. It's quite difficult to
work out why he crashed and why he didn't eject in time. He was a young chap,
with a young wife; thank goodness he didn't have a young family as well, but
it's very sad nonetheless.
