Thanx! We love her, too.
Labs are great family dogs. Friendly, happy, etc. All I've ever met would
rather die than hurt anything, except possibly anything on a table tail high.
The Lab tail can clear a table in a heart beat, including beer bottles and
bowls of chips (crisps). They may be the most vigorous of the tail-wagging
breeds. Grace's tail has three basic motions: vigorous side to side (table
clearing), lying on floor thumping tail up and down; and my personal favorite,
the prop turn, where the tail spins so rapidly I wonder why she doesn't get
pulled away.
The downsides are two: they are rather large, and each Lab sheds a cat every
day. Anyone who owns two Labs needs a riding vacuum cleaner.
