Chuck,
I too, can recall a past discussion where it was said the OM-PC (OM-40)
screen "was the equivalent" of a 2-series screen. There were also
discussion(s) about how desirable a screen it was, and instructions on how to
hack one
out of an OM-PC for use in another body. I have approx 5 Olympus specific
books and only one of them even mentions screens, it states: "Olympus
cameras come supplied with a 1-13 screen."
The OM-PC owner's manual states it has a " bright Lumi-Micron screen" . I
always thought that that was a different standard screen than all other OM
cameras.

I can recall discussion here in the past about whether the OM-40/PC has
the equivalent of a 2-13 screen? I seem to recall that the answer was
yes but, of course, without the handling tab of an interchangeable screen.
The answer, of course, is of importance to anyone wishing for a rare as
hen's teeth 2-13 screen and having a non-functional OM-40/PC. Anyone
here have any hard data on this subject?
