They came as checked baggage, Moose.
Hopefully, they got X-Rayed after departure from NYC - I'm almost sure
there's no X Ray scan at Carrasco airport in Mvd., and completely sure
that if there is one, it is not too powerful :-)
At least, you don't see your baggage being scanned: my daughter came
from London on February 2010 and she didn't see hers scanned.
Same for me when I went to Buenos Aires last year, there at B.A. my
hand baggage was scanned but not when I came back to Montevideo.
Seems I'll have to load a roll and see what I get.
In fact, I _want_ to load a roll ... but winter isn't my favorite
season for Velvia.
I hadn't posed myself the question because what I had sent to Dwayne's
for processing didn't suffer from anything.
