I think you're probably remembering the 1958 tune by the Playmates 
called "Beep, Beep".  In the US version the cars are a Cadillac and a 
Nash Rambler.  In the European version these are replaced by "limousine" 
and "bubble car" due to restrictions of mentioning brand names.  This 
YouTube piece is well done with talking cars of the period.
