Flowers are not absolutely necessary to photograph insects, Jim.
I caught this fly alive and well with one blow, like the The Valiant
Little Tailor did, but didn't kill it.
After I had portrayed it, I left it fly away.
My setup consisted of a tripod mounted OM 2n on Auto mode, an Olympus
25mm Auto Tube and a G. Zuiko 50mm ƒ/1,4 @ ƒ/8.
Ektachrome 64.
Tried Focus Magic, as Moose taught me .... :-)

After I had scanned it, the picture reminded me of Peter Gabriel
singing this song, named "Fly On A Windshield":
"There's something solid forming in the air,
The wall of death is lowered in Times Square.
No-one seems to care,
They carry on as if nothing was there.
The wind is blowing harder now,
Blowing dust into my eyes.
The dust settles on my skin,
Making a crust I cannot move in
And I'm hovering like a fly, waiting for the windshield on the freeway."
Enjoy,
Fernando.
