Well, this discussion has some merit. It got me to looking some stuff up. Turns out that my linguistical twistage is heavily documented. In fact, if you look here, you'll see my speach pattern quite accurately described: http://www.stanford.edu/~eckert/vowels.html The Northen California Vowel shift is very close to my way of speaking, but with the twist where words like Detroit are said with a hard DEE-troit. Ditroit is for furiners. Di-troy-it is for Canadians.
