I almost always have earplugs stuffed away in my bag someplace, but I
find that even those things don't help much when we're under Exodus
Chapter 10 conditions. I have a noise-level meter and one time I
measured the sound under one tree at over 100 dB. I'm not sure how
loud they can get as that wasn't even the loudest I've heard.
