I suspect that what is 'goofy' is that the focusing stage is mounted along
with the bellows - it would never be used that way, but the length of the
focusing stage hides almost all of the rail. But I agree with Bill that the
focusing stage is a real plus.
The lack of the double cable release is nothing to worry about (I don't
think I have ever seen them sold together, and I have also seen far fewer
DCRs than I have bellows). You can stop the lens down very simply using the
DoF preview lever on the front standard - the bellows were designed to be
used without the DCR.
It's a fang!

The rail looks a little short on the bellows. Is that my eyes or is there
something goofy with the rail? It does have a focusing stage attached to
it which is a real plus. The slide duplicator was never something which
