Thanks, Chuck. My current method is to keep the E-510 and 250/4 assembled
and covered with a handkerchief on the top of a bookcase. All I have to do
is screw on the monopod and quietly slip out the garage door. Since that
leaves a short chain-link fence between me and the back yard, this squirrel
didn't see me as a threat. That is the same place I got the Blue Jay shot a
few days ago.
